@JetBlue What are the options exactly? Even gate agents, all who seem completely distraught in every city because of your policy changes can’t help. When I DM you, you tell me to buy a blue fare and that if one of us was a child, you’d try to let us sit together. That’s $100 more/flight.
Every time @jetblue doesn’t sit me with my family-they give us individual middle seats when there are seats together available on a plane about to board. I have been a loyal mosaic almost ten years and this airline is absolutely trash now. Go for the best price, loyalty is over.
@JetBlue Why so you can tell me to spend ~$100 per flight for the privilege of sitting next to my family? DO NOT GO FOR MOSAIC, IT IS USELESS, you have to pay for the “perks” EVERY SINGLE LEG OF EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT. Evil to treat nonmosaics this way, let alone people who prove “loyalty”
@JetBlue right, so if I paid $180 more I would be able to have benefits. more importantly, without that benefit at all from which I spend 50k a year for, I could choose my seats. for the privilege of sitting next to my family on my same booking, it’s another $180. horrible company!
once again checked into a @JetBlue flight and don’t get assigned a seat and probably won’t sit with my family. such a trash airline now. been Mosaic for 8 years and never ever been dissatisfied until this year. horrible!
@JetBlue assigning seats at checkin makes sense because the line of people at the gate with no seats is also annoying but then you’d have to sit people together and you don’t care about customers at all
@JetBlue no I didn’t spend another $90 per leg for the privilege of reserving a seat for the two of us. the 50k on my credit card is quite enough. turns out all that gets me is a free bag, which I don’t even need. just need to use the card for booking flights to get a bag. I feel duped.
@JetBlue DM just confirmed @JetBlue is happy to split families on same itinerary up unless you pay extra, it’s policy. As a mosaic for over seven years, it’s time to move on!
@JetBlue splits up families on same itinerary to force them to buy seats. so many years of loyalty and mosaic status and I can’t even sit next to my wife on a flight. absolutely grossed out they would gouge us so we can sit together, looking for other loyalty programs!
@JetBlue For my return flight tomorrow, the system didn’t even assign us seats even though there are MANY available and next to each other. As a Mosaic, I can’t see being loyal to JetBlue if we have to pay $100 per flight just to sit next to each other.
The guy who shot the health insurance CEO is a terrorist, but the people systematically slaughtering civilians in Gaza are NOT terrorists, but the people fighting against those who are slaughtering the civilians ARE terrorists. The al-Qaeda affiliates in Syria WERE terrorists, but now they're a US puppet regime so soon they WON'T be terrorists, but they need to be designated terrorists for a little while longer because the claim that Syria is crawling with terrorists is Israel's justification for its recent land grabs there. The Uyghur militant group ETIM used to be a terrorist group, but now they're NOT a terrorist group because they can be used to help carve up Syria and maybe fight China later on. The IRGC is a military wing of a sovereign nation, but it counts as a terrorist group because of vibes or something.
Clear enough?
There was a Congressional Stock Ban bill before Congress in 2022 when Democrats had majorities in both the House and the Senate and could have passed it. Biden did nothing and most importantly, Nancy Pelosi as Speaker made sure it was tabled until GOP took over.
So of course Biden waits until a month before he leaves office and Trump is president-elect and GOP is about to control both chambers of Congress to come out strongly for this.
This is how Democrats operate and why we can't stand them: they don't use their power to do the right thing when they have the power - instead they wait until Republicans have power and then say "oh look. we are backing the right thing, why aren't THEY doing something??"
Frauds.
No country is a monolith. Syrians are celebrating the fall of a repressive, authoritarian government. Other Syrians, particularly from minority groups, are now living in fear of/fleeing from the sectarian insurgents taking its place.
The "rebel" leader, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, is the founding leader of Al Qaeda in Syria, al-Nusra, and a former deputy to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Jolani now claims that this was just a "phase", but he's never apologized for the atrocities committed under his watch. This includes August 2013 massacres in Alawite areas of Latakia, which saw "the systematic killing of entire families," an Amnesty International investigation found. As one veteran NYT correspondent reported, the insurgents were devoted to "sectarian mass murder."
The same global compassion for Syrians who suffered under Assad should also extend to those Syrians now fearing new atrocities. That's especially the case for those of us whose governments have contributed to Syria's suffering.
The US and allies spent billions of dollars arming an insurgency that they knew was dominated by Al Qaeda -- and that carried out atrocities like in Latakia. The US military has occupied a large swath of northeastern Syria, stealing its oil and wheat. The US has also imposed crippling sanctions that, as Trump-Biden officials boast about, "crushed" Syria's economy, "deny reconstruction", and have "exacerbated fuel and food shortages for everyday Syrians."
From arming insurgents, occupying oil/wheat fields, to imposing sanctions that hurt everyday Syrians, the aim of this regime change campaign was to cause enough misery in Syria so that its government imploded and its place in the axis of resistance was severed. After years of war, pillage, and economic strangulation that has finally happened. While one authoritarian system has collapsed, another one has succeeded.
Instead of saying “the Green Party can never get votes,” you could simply mobilize your community like the Muslim community and actually stand for something.
