@taste_of_tbone The funniest part to me is thinking of something a kid would be excited to buy at Sears. The only thing my family ever bought at Sears were appliances.
@mcmansionhell I would rather lose the occasional package than submit myself to the ring camera psychosis. I've had to convince my parents not to get one multiple times.
@JeremyMonjo There's an in-game thing that sort of points you to the intended path. I'm at the end of the game and found a pretty natural pathway through it- there's one area that's sort of the intended first area and a couple harder areas I can't imagine stumbling into on accident
@agraybee Where do humans come from?
Every other species seems to have a native planet while humans are just everywhere. This is really notable on planets like Naboo or Tatooine where there's a native non-human population. Are the humans colonists? If so, from where?
@RetroSpaceGame If the developers cared about it not happening they'd build in some way to prevent it or introduce some sort of consequence for doing it.
@BoneJail I once saw a kei van someone had converted into a camper hours into some really rough mountain terrain. It still had all of the logos on the van from when it did local food delivery.
@TheTumboy Even the production is sketchy about stuff
like I just watched the one where DiCamillo faked a big bloody injury and they ended the sketch hiding in the bushes so the cops and fire department couldn't find them
@staticbluebat Ironically I think it suffers the most for needing to bend over backwards to be a star wars movie, if they just accepted it being it's own slightly different thing it would have been better.
@BoneJail I get recommended this stuff all the time and the format of it is just baffling to me. I don't know who it's for or who seeks it out. It's just "content" for the sake of content.
@alecrobbins I tried the Yarn one on switch. Adorable game but the gameplay was so basic it couldn't hold my interest for more than a couple hours. How's it compare?
@alecrobbins I loved Returnal (probably my GOTY when it came out) but was kind of negative on Saros. I rolled credits last night and by the end of the game I was getting it a bit more. I still have some gameplay issues (it basically abandoned any pretense of being a roguelike) but it's good
@jakebrodes it really makes humans look dumb
we've had to spend all this time evolving and trying to find a better version of a monkey when we could have just stopped as "fish with big teeth". Hanging out in a pond is way better than work.
