@aditishekar If no email saying you’ll be late then it’s reminder email at 4 minutes. At 7 minutes and no word, I’m gone. If they apologize, I’ll reschedule for them.
Rare but once in awhile I’ll get someone who doesn’t apologize or just rude about it and I just ignore.
@pitdesi Worst airport. Being jet lagged and hungry in that airport is awful. I love a hot dog, but choosing between four different kinds of hot dogs for breakfast and lunch is maddening
@pitdesi Wasn’t there like a stunt by Cards Against Humanity that bought this island and put some sort of prize on it? I remember following along many years ago
@Trace_Cohen Good stuff. Unfortunately most that work at startups just don’t know this. The running joke among my friends in this world is that every company is always 2 years away from an IPO….
@sairarahman Just general parenting. Expecting first in November and figured I should read a bit so I have some understanding of what to do. I have Cribsheet on the list but nothing else so far!
@pitdesi At end of last year, they offered me the top trim of Ioniq 5 with all the features at $400 monthly lease for 3 years. Insane deal and almost took it cause it was so good. But with no home to charge, I couldn't justify the pain charging would bring.
@aditishekar@NikMilanovic exactly my feeling. Some people were saying it was like "magic" first time they used it. For me, it felt like another browser that looked a bit different.
@mhp_guy My friend read Allen Carr’s book, The Easy Way to Quit Drinking and he quit cold turkey after. Said he knew others who did the same. Maybe a good step before something more drastic like AA.
