THANK YOU!!!!!
Where did the athletic ability go?
Clutch hitting in the 8th and 9th inning?
Starting pitching that goes 8 or 9 innings?
Base stealing-hell just good base running and SPEED?!?
Sac bunts-moving runners over late in a game?
Where’s Tony Gwynn? Rod Carew?
Wade Boggs? Ichiro?
Those guys wouldn’t exist in today’s ridiculous HR or K “launch angle” game!
The game has been dying with the youth of America for YEARS and now is losing the core fanbase as well with this ridiculous product we’ve had to digest for the last 7-10 years.
Bring back Small Ball and athleticism…this shit dreadful!!!

[Joe DeMayo @PSLToFlushing]

@FinkelsteinRyan Well, I wouldn’t call up Ewing

[This Day in Mets History @NYMhistory]

5/7/2016 Bartolo Colón becomes the oldest player in MLB history to hit his first career home run.
@BColon40

[S @vientoscliento]

@PSLToFlushing @NYNJHarper If they didn’t fire him after getting swept by the Rockies at home, he’s not going anywhere Joe

[Ashley @ashleynyr1995]

Why cant it just be different. Like ever. We get the once a decade miracle run and thats it. We all deserve so much more from this team

[Joe DeMayo @PSLToFlushing]

An excruciatingly embarrassing weekend for the Mets

To get swept in a 3 game series at home by the Rockies and score merely 4 runs is inexcusable

10 games under .500 before the month of April ends

I am nearly at a loss for words

[Mets Money @MetsMoney]

What an embarrassing and pathetic tweet this is

[S @vientoscliento]

@Metsmerized They could be throwing a 12 year old and we’d still lose.

[S @vientoscliento]

Something the Mets will not do this season.

[MLB @MLB]

The @Brewers are cheesin' 🧀😄

They're the first team to reach 80 wins!

[S @vientoscliento]

Absolutely pathetic. A kick yourself in the balls, shoot yourself in the foot season. The players suck

[S @vientoscliento]

Keep smiling guys! Absolute losers!

[S @vientoscliento]

AKA he’s done.

[Anthony DiComo @AnthonyDiComo]

Francisco Alvarez needs thumb surgery, per Carlos Mendoza. But the Mets are going to see if he can play through it. "We're hopeful," Mendoza said. However, there's a chance he's done for the year if he can't.

[S @vientoscliento]

I can’t take being a Mets fan anymore ❤️‍🩹

[S @vientoscliento]

0.5 GB from 2nd place is quite a sad flex. Especially from the big bad Yankees

[S @vientoscliento]

@PSLToFlushing @DannyAbriano 2022 was a collapse, Joe

[S @vientoscliento]

Jeff McNeil. Decent player. Worst 5 hole hitter in the league.
