@robbiemay33@dougboneparth Oh yes because a 5 billion dollar gift to the government by the biggest company in the world is that much better of an alternative
@hafuma@metalgearobama This was a 29 year old woman, why would you just blame the parents without knowing anything about the situation. It's just needless hate in a horrible situation
@mtnsyndicalist@cointel__bro@DiscussingFilm US lend lease was definitively the key logistical sustaining factor for the USSR, its a fact that any counter offensive was impossible for the Red Army as seen through the Winter Counter offensive and the second battle of kharkov. American manufacturing and logistics was crucial
@cashptfuture@AP If you've read the suicide letter sent to King anonymously by the FBI it becomes obvious and apparent that slander was a defining tool on its response to discredit the Civil Rights movement. Unredacting noncredible allegations is less about transparency and more about distraction
@Dang83616@RealCandaceO I mean considering Trump was president when Epstein apparently committed suicide, its oddly convenient to blame Obama for a list when MAGA is tampering with video logs and not releasing relevant evidence. Even more odd that there seems to be no interest in justice from you.
@RaybineSue87881@elonmusk Notice how you've avoided any points of substance or context regarding federal defecit spending to frame this as a purely personal disagreement, despite relentless advocacy from Elon Musk and chronic failure of the Trump administration.
@GrimJim3@shamman76@Pirat_Nation Ya I'm not a fan of the mechanic, which sucks since I still am a big fan of civ6. But criticize that, not woke dei, it just sounds dumb because that feature makes sense. I do understand how it could be cool to see how the Mayan empire would be with Caesar, but it's not for me.
@shamman76@Pirat_Nation The unique point of Civ7 is that you can pick any leader to play any civilization for more creative combinations. The game has plenty of things to criticize but woke dei is just something you say when you've never seen the gameplay.
@mack_aston@entangledaura @starcrossedoffx Sure, he would definitely have supported the Palestinians and the underlying movement behind Hamas, but I vehemently disagree he would have supported Hamas and October 7th for the exact same reasons he condemned APLA and PAC, the IFP, necklacing, Third Force, Rogue SDUs etc...
@mack_aston@entangledaura @starcrossedoffx The misunderstanding came from you saying explicitly that he did not condemn violence. But I understand your point. I agree, but I'd reword it. Mainstream dehumanizes rather than demonize Palestinian resistance. I feel this is an important distinction, but your point stands
@entangledaura @starcrossedoffx Brother that article is just a headline I just read it and the article never has a quote where MLK endorsed or participated in violent acts. If I misread it please link a quote or event to the contrary. If anything spreading misleading articles like this only smears his name
@DGribbleston @DrewPavlou But that doesn't justify an endless violence against the Palestinian people. It's important to understand, accept, and humanize both positions to reach a just solution
@ReneeGalena@ace_dune@Acid_Communist How is it funny when my criticism had nothing to do with being Jewish and everything to do with how dehumanizing rhetoric empowers fascist and imperialist rhetoric and justifies it to the public. And the Rhodesia comparison is laughable, they weren't a nuclear power.
@VirgilDuck@StudyStock@eagle_left@DreamLeaf5 @iamRemyJer This will be the last time I reply, but read it through again carefully. October 7th was an understandable response to a century of brutal regime. But that doesn't make it okay and it doesn't make both actions equal, yet it's still important to recognize to push for a solution.
@VirgilDuck@StudyStock@eagle_left@DreamLeaf5 @iamRemyJer Brother read what I said, I specifically said it doesn't justify Israel's genocide of Palestinians. Full stop. But the same for Hamas terrorism. The world failed the Palestinian people, terrorism is understandable yet not justifiable and it is important to condemn all violence.
@VirgilDuck@StudyStock@eagle_left@DreamLeaf5 @iamRemyJer I mean it is simple, but that does go both ways. Both the IDF and Hamas have committed atrocities on civilian populations and perpetuated the slaughter of innocent people. They are both bad. Yes they are unequal, yes one is much worse, but that doesn't legitimize one or the other
@kobesbag@Onion_Knight24@saltyafbastion@VP_Shinomiya@DarkOddCon Yes this SCOTUS ruling is unique and new, because the president doesn't have a core constitutional power over elections that is delegated to Congress and the states. So this doesn't fall under the president's pre existing absolute immunity
@kobesbag@Onion_Knight24@saltyafbastion@VP_Shinomiya@DarkOddCon This is just a lack of understanding over the facts. Former president's have absolute immunity for actions within their core constitutional powers like pardons and foreign policy. The recent ruling has granted presumptive immunity to official acts outside of those as well
