@shawnmicallef I love the Winter Olympics normally, but I didn't watch a single event. I choose where to give my attention, and this time there were more than enough factors to make me want to look elsewhere.
@jimmurphy@stevebeckta@JulieSmythOtt I think this person meant if there were going to be enough people involved for it to require streets closed, like a street party. Many/most protests seek permits to get city support in creating a safe environment, but it's not required.
