In Spotify's destruction of Gimlet Media, the biggest loss is @heavyweight . It was by far one of the best podcasts ever created (in the same league as @ThisAmerLife). I hope Heavyweight finds a new home soon. So much for M&As. Just a different name for destruction of good ideas.

Gimlet Media was a heaven for all podcast fans with many great shows. Then Spotify buys them (because "1+1 = 3" as per some MBA's bullshit Excel). Within a few years, Spotify has destroyed everything Gimlet created. Except for very few, all acquisitions destroy good companies :(
