Skin signs as early clues in inborn errors of immunity 🧑‍⚕️

A new study shows that #skin involvement is one of the leading early findings in children diagnosed with inborn errors of immunity (#IEI).
✔️ 111 pediatric patients analyzed
✔️ 37.8% had #CutaneousManifestations
✔️ In 90% of these cases, #SkinLesions were among the first signs
✔️ Most common findings: #InfectiousLesions (36%), #PigmentationDisorders (15%), and #AtopicDermatitis (11%)

🔍 Takeaway: Noninfectious skin findings — not just infections — can be early indicators of IEI. Greater awareness among #pediatricians and #dermatologists can support earlier diagnosis and better #outcomes.
