You should build 100x of added value on top of raw AI intelligence in order to justify API price compared to subscription.
This is the reality of AI products very few understand.
The most frustrating thing in SaaS right now is limited API.
When you almost did what you wanted with your agent but then you should go and learn how to finish that through their interface.
@adamlyttleapps The weather some can build their own tools doesn’t mean they would. The same way as a business owner doesn’t do cleaning in the office himself but hires a cleaning company for that.
Outsourcing your thinking to AI is the dumbest thing you can do for yourself.
You’ll never learn how to solve this problem.
It never solves the problem on its own.
I think that I’m broken.
Every time when I’m doing a demo, I have a feeling that I’m doing it for a competitor that is trying sniff where we’re moving.
@nikpolale That’s a good niche!
Do you do demos?
I might actually switch to squeezly from loops. I’m waiting for their API for too long, and have seen you have that available right now.
And PS. You’ve been suggested by Claude :)
The Marketing department is changing. The role of the CMO is changing.
Across all the CEOs that I talk to, Marketing is the team that is using AI the most (second to Engineering). The role is becoming more cross functional, more dynamic.
@ivanhzhao talks about how this shift at @NotionHQ:
- Storytelling is now embedded with the Product team
- Demand generation is serve the sales function
Those that are part of the Marketing team are now Marketing "and Sales" or Marketing "and Product". This is the evolution to the five tool operator.
