@kedytcom This violates Apple's rules, and you could get in trouble for it. In the last few months, people have been rejected for showing a discount after the normal paywall. Move the discount offer deeper into the app and add a timer to it.
@axmacinsky Depending on what kind of problems you have.
But Notion is a good gateway to note taking the world and if you programmer you will end up using Obsidian 🙃
All my new indie apps are created, avoiding Firebase at all costs. Reasons:
1. I can't trust Google not closing its products.
2. Pricing can increase at any point with no possibility of migrating to other providers. (One time, they did that to Google Maps, and it was ugly)
@Timb03 If it is low maintenance and profitable, let it run. If I like a project and can implement features in small bits without costing me time, I will not drop it. Otherwise, I'm selling or killing.
@dialogai_io @imgyf That is a very excellent example. In fact, I have an understanding of how electricity and a toaster work, so I can better maintain it and make perfect toast for myself. This knowledge comes from physics classes and is a deeper understanding of how things work.
@dialogai_io @imgyf If you do not try to understand your tool, you will fail more often. Or worse, you will succeed, but your foundations will be built on sand. By learning, I can cut so much stuff from my workflow that it makes me faster.
I removed my Macbook battery because it started become a firehazard. Installing Linux will not remove performance throttling created by removing the battery
@DEV_0x07 If this productivity starts fading, check your task size. Big tasks will require more willpower to start, and combined with the Pomodoro timer, it is a powerful hack. Also, always know if you are not beginning burnout. Resting a few days is better than a multiple-month recovery
