Something deeper is changing in corporate India. The value attached to hard work seems to be diminishing, many next-gen heirs prefer passive income to building factories and businesses, startups chasing delivery apps over deep tech, fights within and between businesses. India has the talent and capital but our entrepreneurs must rediscover the hunger to invest in R&D and areas of the future.
Not long ago i used to be the youngest in most rooms, at many things.
Now at a MBA college when 25 year olds call me sir, the thing that hits me most is damn, where did my youth go, life is short, even if nothing crazy happens...

In 2007, 35-year-old Elon Musk explained how he chooses multi-billion dollar idea to work on.
He revealed:
• Why money is a bad goal
• Why competition doesn’t matter
• How great companies actually scale
12 lessons from young Musk that still feel ahead of 2026:
This paragraph from Carl Jung hits so hard.
“The world is full of people suffering from the effects of their own unlived life. They become bitter, critical, or rigid, not because the world is cruel to them, but because they have betrayed their own inner possibilities. The artist who never makes art becomes cynical about those who do. The lover who never risks loving mocks romance. The thinker who never commits to a philosophy sneers at belief itself. And yet, all of them suffer, because deep down they know: the life they mock is the life they were meant to live.”
The secret to discipline is protecting the first hour. If the first hour gets stolen by noise, messages, and cheap dopamine, your day becomes reactive. Win the morning with one hard task and one clean habit, and the rest of the day obeys that early identity.
A mentor once told me this: Life will test you with the same challenge until you learn the lesson. The same fight in every relationship. The same burnout in every job. The same regret in every missed chance. Until you do the inner work, the outer world won’t change.

Once you understand it, your life will never be same:🧵
Sigmund Freud believed a father must be a “threat,” not a friend, or the son never fully becomes a man.
A boy is born into the world of the mother, warmth, forgiveness, safety. But maturity begins only when the father introduces limits, hierarchy, and resistance.
Freud called this the “Law of the Father”. not violence, but authority that doesn’t collapse under emotion.
When a father becomes a buddy too early, the boy never exits childhood. Historically, initiation meant separation from the mother, fear, discipline, even pain. The father was the guide into danger, responsibility, and competition.
Today that role is diluted into reassurance and endless empathy. The result is visible everywhere: grown men addicted to comfort, terrified of criticism, avoiding risk, seeking approval.
Friendship with father is possible, but only after strength is proven, not before. Until then, firmness is not cruelty. It is preparation. The world will not negotiate. A father existed to make sure his son could survive that fact.
Life cannot just be about one sad thing after another.
There must also be things that make us super excited and inspired about the future. This is one of things. Bigtime.
