@AngryNoodleHead @cafreiman I would not, in fact, expect any grassroots movement that succeeds to have a linear effect, as typically the strategy is to diffuse ideas and advocacy to a wider network of people. I'd expect exponential gains or stagnation, not linear.

@taknothing @glukianoff He literally used the words "right wing" in his tweet, of a guy who isn't easily construed as such. Like, this is a basic threshold question and it's so easy to evaluate to the opposite conclusion you reached that I can't fathom how you'd be considered an English speaker

@Ryan_Reilly78 @HannahDCox I am utterly persuaded that Roe and its later progeny were further "left" (permissive) than what the median voter believes is acceptable, from a combination of the Pew data and recent state level fights, peoples beliefs about viability hardly lined up with what actually happened

God forbid you check the average week threshold for abortion in the country now
