Nearly 1 in 5 of our nation’s Veterans are Catholic. And while atheists, humanists, and nearly 100 other belief systems can choose their symbol on a VA cemetery headstone, Catholics still cannot choose a crucifix as their emblem of belief.
That is why I am advocating that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs add the crucifix as an eligible emblem at our national cemeteries. Their faith deserves to be represented, and I will keep fighting until it is.
@catholicpat@Catholicizm1@briankeepsworth No offense, but you have two small kids. Things change when you take up an entire pew. People start talking to you about NFP, staring, judging. The kids wonder why there aren’t any other big families. You don’t fit in. My sons wouldn’t serve at NO because girls did.
@catholicpat No. Our closest parishes still have a lot of people wearing masks, and they still make announcements about social distancing and getting vaccinated. The problems of the NO Mass go beyond what can be fixed with a few faithful families.
