.@JoshiPralhad@VSOMANNA_BJP Sir, the proposed superfast train between Bengaluru & Mumbai via Hubballi should be introduced as a daily service.
We kindly request your intervention to ensure this proposed SF service operates daily via Hubballi. @SWRRLY

NO MORE EXTENSIONS OF TRAIN NO. 16511/16512 – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
Train No. 16511/16512 KSR Bengaluru – Kozhikode Express was originally introduced as a dedicated train up to Mangaluru Central, serving the people of Dakshina Kannada and nearby regions of Karnataka. Over time, it was extended to Kannur, reducing the exclusive benefit that Mangaluru once had. Now it has been further extended to Kozhikode, and now there are reports of extending it even beyond to Shoranur Jn.
This is clearly a step-by-step dilution of Mangaluru’s railway importance and connectivity.
With every extension, the seat and berth availability for passengers from Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada region is getting reduced, as the quota is being distributed further beyond Mangaluru. A train that was meant to serve Karnataka is now gradually shifting its benefit away from the state.
Despite strong and continuous opposition from the people of Dakshina Kannada, both South Western Railway (SWR) and Southern Railway (SR) are pushing these decisions without giving any importance to public concerns.
If connectivity to Kerala is being cited as the reason, then let them demand and introduce a separate new train for that purpose. Why should an existing train meant for Mangaluru be continuously extended and diluted instead of addressing Karnataka’s needs?
At the same time, long-pending railway demands of Mangaluru and Karnataka are being ignored — no proper new trains, no restoration of important services, no priority for connectivity via the Hassan line, and no effort to strengthen internal connectivity within Karnataka.
People are not against connectivity, but they are strongly against losing their rightful share of seats, berths, and priority in a train originally meant for their region.
Now it is very clear — no more extensions are needed. Enough is enough. Stop this immediately.
We strongly urge @SWRRLY and @GMSRailway to roll back further extension plans and protect the existing seat and berth quota for Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada passengers without any reduction.
@CaptBrijesh sir, This is the time to break your silence. People of Dakshina Kannada are expecting you to stand up and protect their interests.
And a final question to @SWRRLY, @GMSRailway -
After Shoranur Jn, what next? Palakkad Jn? Thiruvananthapuram Central? Or even Kanyakumari? Where does this end?

Bengaluru is still waiting for its first quadruple railway line, while neighbouring cities/states are already planning 5th and 6th lines. This stark contrast highlights how severely railway infrastructure in Bengaluru has lagged behind despite its massive population and economic importance.
Who is responsible for this backwardness in railway infrastructure planning for Bengaluru? Policymakers, planners, or lack of priority? Your views.

Campaign Continues
Restore Mangaluru Central – SMVD Katra #NavyugExpress via the inland route: HAS UBL PUNE BPL NZM.
@GMSRailway@SWRRLY please don’t delay it further. Many new trains are being introduced across the country, but Mangaluru still awaits this long-pending service.
Despite the strong opposition from people of Mangaluru and other regions of Dakshina Kannada, Train No. 16511/16512 KSR Bengaluru–Kannur Express has now been extended further to Kozhikode. Once again, the voices of Dakshina Kannada have been completely ignored.
Both @SWRRLY and @GMSRailway have shown clear injustice to Dakshina Kannada district in this matter.
Let us look at the reality:
• No Navyug Express for Mangaluru.
• No Vande Bharat Express for Mangaluru.
• No Mangaluru–Tirupati train via Hassan line.
• No extension of Mahalakshmi Express to Mangaluru.
But when it comes to extending KSR Bengaluru–Kannur Express, it gets quickly pushed further to Kozhikode.
This train was originally dedicated to Mangaluru.
Then it was extended to Kannur.
Now it is extended again to Kozhikode.
Step by step, Mangaluru’s rail connectivity is being diluted, while the concerns of the people of Dakshina Kannada are repeatedly ignored.
Even during peak seasons and festivals, special trains to the coast conveniently bypass Mangaluru, despite huge passenger demand.
Is this how @SWRRLY treats Karnataka’s second-largest economic hub and one of India’s major GDP-contributing cities?
Now that the extension to Kozhikode has been done despite strong public opposition, the least that can be done is to ensure fairness in seat allocation.
Maintain the existing 80:20 seat and berth sharing arrangement, where passengers from the Mangaluru–Subrahmanya region receive a larger share, and the beyond-Mangaluru section receives a smaller share.
At the very least, ensure justice and fair representation for passengers of Dakshina Kannada.
And congratulations to @CaptBrijesh sir for maintaining remarkable silence on this issue.

@RailwaySeva@drmsbc@GMSWR Very pathetic crowd management at Yesvantpur. Look at the crowd below, one Crowd pushing to board train another is pushing other way. This entire crowd merged as 4 lines at the point where I took this photo to proceed to metro. Please fix this
Congratulations to the people’s representatives of Bengaluru 👏
Three new weekly trains are being introduced from Bengaluru to various destinations in West Bengal.
Is the upcoming election the reason for this sudden push? 🤔
Meanwhile, a Bengaluru–Mumbai Superfast train with a journey time of 19 hours or less has been pending for decades - along with the Bengaluru–Kalaburagi–Bidar Express.
Do we need to wait till elections for these too?

Requested @VSOMANNA_BJP to fulfill below demands to improve railway infrastructure in our region .
1. Introduce vande Bharat train btn Bengaluru and Vijayapura via HPT, DMM
2. Restart Belagavi-Manuguru via mantralaya,Hyd.
3. Stops at TB dam & Munirabad for BJP -YPR train .
Bengaluru–Kalaburagi rail corridor has been utterly neglected for years. The gap between passenger demand and train availability has widened alarmingly, leaving thousands of travellers with no real choices.
Chronic under-supply of services has forced passengers to travel in inhuman conditions on a regular basis. This is not just an inconvenience, but a serious failure in route planning and capacity augmentation.
Hope our public representatives urgently raise this issue with the Hon’ble Railway Minister and ensure proper connectivity, adequate train services, and dignity for passengers on this vital route. @Tejasvi_Surya@ShobhaBJP@PCMohanMP@IamGKumarNaik@RadhaKrishnaINC@SagarKhandre12@AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMinIndia
