Wake Up Sid is such a beautiful movie. No extraordinary storyline, no multi city shooting, no extraordinary costumes, yet still so relatable and meaningful 17 years on. Wish love could be that simple and wholesome for all of us irl too.
@cascade94@TheDhaadiBoy There’s one part where he says he wanted to give his child the exact opposite of the environment he grew up in, and that by itself is enough to understand that there’s a lot of good in him. It’s time he realises breaking down publicly does more harm than good.
@cascade94 Still can’t wrap my head around why a teacher would allegedly try to undress a child over something as trivial as homework. What possible justification could there be for that?
Hope this case leads to stricter child-safety laws.
@Alamban11 i genuinely feel sorry for her. all she meant was that people face different realities, and not everyone has the freedom, support, or safety to just walk away. it was a fair point, but she was treated cruelly for saying it. she didn’t deserve that reaction!
