So it turns out that the hold out juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial admitted during deliberations that he had reasonable doubt as to her guilt, but refused to vote her not guilty — and men are acting as if he did something heroic.

What he actually did is called juror misconduct. He voted to convict a woman about whose guilt he felt reasonable doubt. That is the exact opposite of how the justice system is supposed to work. This man isn’t a hero. He’s a jackass who almost certainly broke sequestration, and decided to prove a point even though he admitted that what he was doing was wrong. He literally voted against his own conscience and the judge’s instructions. For all of you out there cheering him on — I just hope that you’re never at the mercy of a man like that.

In January 2011, 27-year-old teacher Ellen Greenberg was found dead on the kitchen floor of her apartment in Philadelphia.

A knife was still in her chest.

She had been stabbed 20 times. Ten of the wounds were in the back of her head and neck. Her body was covered in bruises.

Her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, said he came home from the gym and found the door locked from the inside. He said he broke in and found her there.

The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide. Then, after meeting with police, he changed it to suicide.

Her parents refused to believe it. They argue that no one could stab themselves in the back of the head, wound their own spinal cord, and still keep stabbing themselves in the chest.

They hired experts and spent years fighting in court to have the case reviewed.

Then, in 2025, the doctor who had performed Ellen’s autopsy said he no longer believed her death should be classified as suicide.

The city paid her parents $650,000 and agreed to review the case.

The review changed nothing. In October 2025, the medical examiner’s office confirmed the original ruling.

Despite all the unanswered questions, Ellen Greenberg’s death remains classified as a suicide.

An ICE agent scanned the wrong license plate, chased the wrong man, and ended up shooting Julio Sosa-Celis through his own front door. DHS’s first story: Sosa-Celis attacked agents with a broom and snow shovel. City surveillance video proved that was false — the whole struggle lasted about 12 seconds. DHS admitted its agents gave “untruthful” sworn testimony. Charges against Sosa-Celis were dropped with prejudice.

The agent, Christian Castro, is now charged with 4 counts of assault + falsely reporting a crime. He fled to Texas.

Greg Abbott is refusing to extradite him. Minnesota’s AG just sued Abbott to force it.

A Republican governor is actively shielding a federal agent from facing trial for shooting an innocent man and lying about it under oath.
