We want more female mice!! ๐ญ #Equality
It's crucial that scientific trials are not biased, how can it be that medication/cancer research trials only test on sub-pop? It translates to the drugs women take having not been optimised for correct dosage or removal of side effects.
There is no scientific basis to say female mice present more variable traits (as a blanket statement) because of hormonal cycles and use that as a basis to study ONLY male mice.
It is not true. Itโs just as simple as that.
In fact, these has been refuted a few times:
