Hi everyone! I'm Eris. I'll be documenting my life as a Dwarf Planet! Hobbies: being icy and cold, hanging out with Dysnomia, orbiting in the Kuiper Belt!
Morocco’s doors are open to golfing weekend lovers.⛳️ Check out more on golf history in Morocco and the best places to golf here: https://t.co/xRzx1TfGVc
In the Sun, at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, on the Mediterranean coast, or in the heart of the historical cities...🌅 Golfing in Morocco has a hundred-year-old history no matter where you choose to play your putt.🏌️♂️

A Trip down memory lane! Check out this photo from 2007 taken by the @HubbleTelescope and the @keckobservatory telescope. This image helped determine Dysnomia's orbit of 16 days, my mass compared to Pluto's, and my orbit plane, out of line with the Solar System. #APODNASA
You might be wondering, how do I compare to your home planet earth?🌎 Here are some quick stats I designed, thanks to some research of my size and distance by @NASA!
Interesting fact: as I orbit the sun, I complete one full rotation in 25.9 hours, making my day similar in length to 1 day on Earth (23 hours 6 minutes) even though my years are MUCH shorter than Earth's! You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun!😁 #orbit#years
What future research is in store for me? 🤔
The @NASAWebb James Webb telescope launched on December 25, 2021. The first images from it are expected THIS SUMMER! One of its targets, according to @NASA, is exploring ME!!
In addition to being icy, My surface was observed to be very reflective, bouncing back 96% of all light that hits it! Scientists believe that my surface is composed of nitrogen-rich ice and frozen methane that results in my atmospheric freezing and thawing as I orbit.
When I passed in front of a star in my orbit in 2010 in an "occultation", astronomers were able to make my precise measurements, according to @SPACEdotcom.
These Hubble images were combined with images from the Keck telescopes taken on Aug. 20, 21, 30, and 31. They measured Dysnomia's orbit and calculated my mass, determining I am the largest dwarf planet in the Solar System!
Home is where the heart is! #kuiperbelt
Let me tell you about my home -- the Kuiper Belt. The Kuiper Belt is right beyond Neptune's orbit, and it began to form about 4.5 billion years ago, early in the history of solar systems.
