@NASAStennis helped power America to the Moon during Apollo, and it has an important role to play as we return to stay.
We heard directly from the workforce and visited the historic B-Test Complex, where @blueorigin will test New Glenn’s upper stage through its agreement with NASA. Putting world-class American infrastructure to work with commercial partners is how we move faster, strengthen our industrial base, and stay ahead.
We also met with @USSOCOM leadership and watched Naval Special Warfare’s Special Boat Team 22 conduct an impressive hot extraction demonstration. Incredible capability and professionalism on display.
A great reminder of the extraordinary people and capabilities behind American leadership on Earth and beyond.

The largest space port in the world will now call Louisiana home.
Great to join @foxandfriends to discuss @SpaceX’s $100 billion investment in Vermilion Parish.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry says he has no concerns about the potential environmental impact of SpaceX’s planned launch facility along the state’s Gulf Coast, arguing the project will bring jobs and help fund coastal restoration.
“I’m not concerned about the environmental impact,” Landry (R-LA) told CBS News when asked about SpaceX’s environmental record at its Texas launch site. Landry called the project “the greatest marriage that Louisiana has ever had,” saying it will combine “coastal restoration, hurricane protection with great economic opportunity.”
SpaceX unveiled plans to build its largest rocket launch complex yet in southern Louisiana, a $100 billion effort to transform coastal wetlands into a critical base for the company's Starship and AI satellite launch ambitions https://t.co/7PEGdN8JHz
