@Demeter_Erinia Yes and it was AWFUL! Both of parents smoked. I used to "seal" my bedroom as best I could even in winter to keep that horrid stench out. Washing ash trays made me vomit. By the late '70's smoking in public declined and Smoke Free meeting rooms emerged. It's a filthy sick habit.

As a veteran, I hate that this man "salutes" during the anthem.

1. Generally speaking even Active Duty and Veterans don't salute in civies. You CAN, but most people just put their hands over their hearts.

2. He's not a veteran or active duty. POTUS is a civilian's office.

3. He's a fucking draft dodger. That's some stolen valor bullshit. You haven't earned that right, you fucking fuck.

So @FIFAcom’s position is that a referee they selected for the World Cup can be excluded because of one host country’s racism, and FIFA bears no responsibility whatsoever.

Then why wasn’t he assigned to Canada or Mexico?

The tournament has three host countries. The obstacle is one country, not the entire World Cup. So why isn't FIFA finding a solution?

What FIFA is really saying is that when officials from the Global South are discriminated against, accommodation is impossible and exclusion is acceptable.

A World Cup that only works for holders of the right passports is not a global tournament. It’s a privilege masquerading as one.

Sometimes it only takes 1 question and 1 camera catching the exact second the fake confidence turns into pure rage.

This is what a lifetime of self enrichment, bankruptcies, ugly scandals, hate campaigns and industrial scale lying looks like.

The performance eventually cracks because the body cannot keep laundering the soul forever.

You can buy lawyers, loyalty, headlines, silence and applause, but you cannot buy dignity back once everyone has seen what is underneath the paint.

This man and everything he represents has destroyed countless lives while enriching a small circle around him.

Instead of standing for life, dignity and ordinary people, he turned politics into a machine for resentment, corruption and personal gain.

At some point the face stops performing strength and starts leaking the rot underneath.
