An homage, if you will indulge me. My husband, Harvey, @Twreck1031, and I were both widowed fairly young. I was 44, he was 52. How we met, fell in love, & married after our losses isn't important. That we had 13 insanely great years after he came from the U.S. to Canada to marry me, giving up a massive executive job & all the perks that went with it, before I got horribly ill (pre-Covid) and had to medically retire myself is important. During the first few years, I supported us while he worked his way through our citizenship process ending in him obtaining Canadian citizenship. The very minute he could legally work here, he opened his own business, which led to him to open a second ground-breaking business that was hugely successful. /1
