@_JananiS It is so hard. People don’t see the late nights working after you already worked a full day and parented and got baby fed and to bed. Some of the older lawyers act like long hours at the office are a badge of honour, but actually they are a luxury.
A case where a mediated agreement was found on summary judgment upheld, and see ~5 on lawyer as witness: Arbuckle v. Arbuckle, 2023 ONCA 80 https://t.co/XUnmcq47hr
Wow!! - ONCA upholds costs awarded by the trial judge of $950,000 in litigation conducted over several years, involving 23 motions, multiple family conferences, approximately 40 judicial endorsements and orders and a 12-day trial https://t.co/bnKTXSC8Lx #familylaw#divorce
@LissaJoStewart YUP me too! I think this guy is mixed up. I didn’t become this way because of the profession. I came to the profession because I am this way. This man shouldn’t worry about scary lady lawyers, however. He’s obviously too “beta” to hang with us anyway.
@ThatEricAlper I’m not even 40 yet but I remember when the remote was called a “clicker” because it had only 3 buttons which actually clicked when you pressed down on them!
