@omooretweets There’s data acquisition and there’s monetization. Scraping doesn’t seem like a long term viable business but maybe you mean AI can make user reviews easier to acquire (e.g. chrome released rewriter api). Monetization still seems likely ad driven if ChatGPT is any indication
@brandonhassler@samsheffer Skills should help. You would save the context/instructions from the .md as a skill (e.g. "/grade") and then when you are on a job description page, you can type "/grade" and it'll run the instructions So instead of taking the link to the Gem, you can grade straight from Chrome!
@brandonhassler@samsheffer Have you checked out Skills in Chrome, which we're rolling out now? Would love to learn more about your use case to see how we can best serve it if you want to share more or DM
@DaytonDavis@TechCrunch@Google It does typically take us a few weeks to roll out features to all users (and for them to update). Thanks for your patience!
@CalimanuLoredan@osanseviero Skills in Chrome is rolling out this month to all Gemini in Chrome users, which span many countries including US, India, New Zealand and Canada!
@chilumbamachona@osanseviero Extensions and Skills are complimentary! They enable our users to customize their browsing and AI experiences in different ways
Split View should still be in there. Right click on a tab to add to split view. It's great!
@swyx@osanseviero@hhua_ Should be rolling out to all Gemini in Chrome users over the next few weeks. Please keep checking and thanks for your patience!
@velsinhax@osanseviero Will be rolling out everywhere Gemini-in-Chrome is already available. Skills in Chrome should allow you to save, customize and reuse any prompts you can already do in your Google AI plan (free or otherwise)
@aakashgupta Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm for Skills in Chrome! Please do keep watch on the skills library. We want to make prompting like a pro easy
@eric_seufert Tapping TTD may just point to the desire to get brand dollars for now as they have a fully functional performance (and SMB) advertiser stack
