there's a small detail in @Injective's RWA push that i think is easy to overlook.

Injective is now registered with the SEC as a transfer agent.

and for a network trying to bring financial assets onchain, that matters.

putting a security onchain is only one part of the job.

someone still needs to handle the records behind it.

→ who owns it?
→ when does ownership change?
→ how are those records maintained?

that's basically where a transfer agent comes in.

and Injective already has other pieces moving in this direction.

the network is expanding into:

→ tokenized treasuries
→ equities
→ pre-IPO markets
→ trade finance

there's also the POSCO International + LG CNS pilot, bringing trade receivables into an onchain process.

so the transfer agent registration doesn't really sit on its own.
