@NEWSMAX How did these musicians end up in the Freedom 250 concert in the first place? Audition? Invitation? Seems like they had to accept at some point. Now they want out because of "politics"? What has changed about politics since they accepted? Pathetic turn of events.
@notvalatall1 Thank you, Valerie. I feel the need for some more darks as well, but I didn't know where to add them or what color. Needs some shadows as well, but again what color and where?
@delightfulrepas@notvalatall1 Jean, your oranges are just beautiful. You asked about darker areas. What about darkening the middle slice a bit for some contrast between it and the front slice? You could stipple in some deeper oranges and a few green dots, if the orange-green combo looks brown.
First time painting the inside of an orange, second time painting an orange. It's a start. A card for friend who loves the color orange. #watercolor#watercolour
@raquellrussell@RepMikeCollins You butt into a thread with your political tirade, disregarding the fact that there are others who do have an interest in the great Secretariat.
Who do you think you are?
On this day in history in 1973, Secretariat clinched the Triple Crown by winning the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes.
With a heart two and a half times the size of an average horse’s, Secretariat still holds the speed records for all three races. He was ranked No. 35 on ESPN’s list of the Top 50 North American athletes of the 20th century, the only nonhuman on the list.
@1ndependentV0te@CBSNews So 56% are saying they are either about the same or financially better off than last year.
43% are saying they are financially worse off than last year.
Then @CBSNews posts the 43% on X as "nearly half" instead of focusing on the better news from the 56% percentage.
@vlynpowell@CBSNews I stand corrected. I just looked and the pay-per-view fees are waived and this is free to the public. That said, I’m not sure what grounds there are for a lawsuit.
@NEWSMAX I'm shocked. We've never heard of such before have we, attempts to influence news coverage in ways that favor a particular administration's narrative?
@OANN I also hope that France and other Western European countries that were liberated after D-Day never forget the cost of that freedom paid by Operation Overlord.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reflected on his D-Day trip to France, highlighting the bond between the heroes who stormed Normandy and today's service members. Hegseth says he hopes Americans, especially the next generation, never forget the cost of freedom.

@HHSResponse@SecKennedy@HHSGov@Surgeon_General Parents today need the Surgeon General's help with setting rules about their children's "screen time"?
That speaks volumes about what's wrong in our country today.
@JeffFarkas11@CBSNews You could say that about any president's invited guests and events. So start your list of those you have disagreed with over the years, and let us have a look at it.
