This post has the location of the accident. @mybmc - Who would be the official who signed off that this road is fit to be used? Who is the contractor who claimed to have repaired it ? How will you compensate this citizen for his injury, vehicle damage ? Who is accountable?

This accident occurred on Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR).
Fortunately, the rider was not seriously injured, though the situation could have been dangerous.

In a similar incident in July 2025, Mr. Lalu Kamble, riding a scooter towards Vikhroli, lost control after hitting a pothole. He had underestimated the depth of one pothole, which caused his scooter to falter. The dumper driver, unable to react in time, collided with him, and unfortunately, Mr. Kamble died.
The dumper driver, a resident of Shivaji Nagar in Govandi, remained at the scene and was not found to be intoxicated. He was detained by patrolling officers and charged under Sections 106(1) (causing death by rash or negligent act not amounting to culpable homicide) and 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Sir, can we Mumbaikar have a safe footpath to walk, while at ur houses t footpath all are cleared, but at Marol Military Rd Andheri East, they r used by illegal hawkers having stalls n using gas cylinders on the roads too.
