VoD wishes candidates well in their upcoming campaigns.
Think about it. A local to the Croydon/ Ringwood Districts who is ethical, prepared to listen to community and isn't beholden to a party, faction or lobby. If you know a person who values integrity, facts and people centered policy - nominate them below!
Responses to this survey will help form our Listening Report. The information is used to hold reps from State Government to account. So if you are going to Vote in either the Ringwood or Croydon Districts in November - use the QR code and tell us what you think!
Following a listening campaign, VoD endorsed Jess Ness as an Independent Candidate for the electorate of Deakin. We confirm that VoD will not be operating during the election period. Please refer to this website for information about Jess’s campaign. https://t.co/xyRRDSvzzp

The Australien Government and the Opposition have made an ad about Minority Governments, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative.

Happy Women’s Day to the tens of thousands of women who power the Community Independents movement, and to our CI MPs and candidates who have courageously stepped up to show how politics can be done differently.

"Communities in NSW and QLD experiencing back to back disasters are asking why? It is critical that Australians know that Cyclone Alfred, like so many other extremes across Australia, is more intense and destructive due to climate change" - @McKenzieAmanda

@JessNess4Deakin Just a note: Jess and her family will be picking up in the streets around this area from 9am and the volunteer crew should meet at Bluebird Dell at 10am. #CleanUpAustralia#JessNess4Deakin
This is community-led politics!
This week we held our first policy committee meeting, bringing together a group of volunteers with a range of backgrounds and expertise.
It was a hot night in Leongatha so we held it outside!
We analysed the community feedback gathered through surveys, kitchen table conversations, politics in the pub events and doorknocking
We identified key issues and themes and began to formulate evidence-based policies that reflect the priorities of the community.
Policies should be formed by the people, not by party bosses who don’t understand our community and the challenges we face.
This is a better way of doing politics.
