Somehow a 100-line SQL query is considered unmaintainable, but splitting the same logic across five services and a message queue is considered architecture.
SQL injection is such an insane concept. You ask a stranger for their username and they give you instructions instead. Your database obeys them because they used the correct punctuation.
i don't think tech people understand how little non-tech people care about tech
