Okay, so, y'know how my whole thing is nuance & that many things can be true at once? Here are some things I know to be true:

-Stating that EDs are inherently fatphobic is not only incorrect but also erases the experience of many people (including those w/ larger bodies) w/ EDs.

@jennaline_msw Taylor is an artist, art is a form of self-expression. Sometimes art navigates uncomfortable experiences and sometimes that art elicits uncomfortable feelings. Censoring art is not the answer.

The discourse is about why society lately is putting so much pressure on artists to make art that conforms to a narrative

The scene was literally about how toxic it is to reduce someone to their weight, which is what people are doing by not letting a thin person talk about their experiences bc they’re thin
