Building Sonux (https://t.co/gM0VISuwMt). Local voice-to-text on Mac.
I’d spin up a Grok Bot as the second brain on the product. Every night it reads the crash logs, the slow dictation clips and the “this word came out wrong” notes, then dumps a short list: what broke, what to test tomorrow, what feature is actually worth building. That’s the only way a solo builder ships this fast without guessing in the dark for a week.
I’m already using AI every day and I keep hitting the wall mid-work. Give me Ultra and it doesn’t sit unused.
It ships Sonux with me.
That’s the gap I’m going after. Most of these tools are built for English and then they add Spanish as an afterthought so it always feels worse. I want it local and private too, not sending your voice to a server. You’ve shipped stuff like this before so if you have any scars from it I’ll take them. Good luck with Fog this week, I’ll be watching those views 😜💪

Fog looks clean. Throwaway project hitting signal is the best kind of accident.I’m building Sonux, local voice-to-text, fully private, no cloud. Shipping Spanish first (I’m from Spain) to make it actually good, then going after the rest of the languages harder than Wispr Flow / Typeless / Superwhisper.Speed + privacy is the whole bet.
