Yesss. Not only a trait of clear thinking though. Applies to when we develop and learn ideas. Write them out and get feedback on logic, before a talk or class.
The best way to gauge the quality of someone’s ideas isn’t to listen to them talking. It’s to read their writing.
Compelling speakers can mask weak logic with strong charisma. Putting key points on a page exposes flawed reasoning.
Compelling writing requires clear thinking.
Honored and excited to lead this incredible @TheIowaHawkeyes team. Our coaches, student-athletes and passionate community of fans and donors are the best in the country. Building on our storied history, great success lies ahead for the Hawks! #TogetherWeFightForIowa
I'm developing a new graduate course this semester where we discuss (and apply!) advanced methods in f/MRI. I'm having a lot of fun picking papers, but I'm also assembling a list of imaging resources for novice -> intermediate -> advanced imagers!
