What's your investor mandate?
Mine is to provide my family with a high quality of life in the short term, while building wealth in the long term.
It requires balance. But most of all, it requires independent thinking specific to my situation.
You need to do the same. Especially now.
We are at the part of the market cycle where permabulls will call you an idiot for selling, while permabears yell that the end is near.
But amidst the noise you need to remember that everyone's situation is different.
The permabull with $20 million in T Bills is in a different situation than someone with six figures of life savings 100% allocated to risk.
The person with a great salary is in a different situation to the retiree.
The person who makes a living writing bullish or bearish content is not who you want to listen to either.
You need to think for yourself.
Run through realistic bullish and bearish scenarios, and make decisions that set you up for an uncertain future.
You are allowed to sell.
You are allowed to hold.
But you must decide for yourself.
Then sleep well knowing you did the best you could given the information you had.
And one last thing: As someone who always wondered what it would feel like to "make it" - the best feelings still come from pushing yourself physically, getting outside, laughing with friends, having a challenging goal and pursuing it, enjoying a morning flat white in the sun... None of it requires a fortune.
So don't get so lost in the numbers on the screen that you forget to focus on the real wealth in your life.
The stuff that's in your control.
Having money is preferable to not having money. But the state of being that makes you feel incredible is available to you now. 🫡
So there's now a handful of treasury companies whose business plan is just farming LN routing fees: $LQWD and $BHODL
The CEOs of these companies have been going on podcasts, and not once have I seen a podcaster call out their bullshit and point out farming LN routing fees is a not a real business model that scales. There's only 3,800 BTC locked in the LN, so even if deployed at maximum scale, the market opportunity for farming LN routing fees is at best, only a few BTC per year. It's not enough money to even pay off the C-Suite team's salaries. Shareholders who believe otherwise are being lied to and scammed.

@AdamBLiv Probably one of the best explanations on covered calls I've seen, certainly the most financially entertaining - smashed it sir. In case people get assigned they can also go the opposite way and sell put options right (in effect what MTPLF does on BTC to generate income).
