@AmSolidarity nominee for governor. @ILSolidarity vice chair. @LiberationASP co-founder. Advisor to @Christhecitizen of @AndCampaign. Host of Unorthodoxing.
My name is Mike Vick. I'm running for Governor of Illinois as a write-in independent.
I'm a journalist, organizer, and person of faith who believes Illinois deserves better than the lesser of two evils.
On November 3, write in MIKE VICK for Governor.
Here's why I'm running: https://t.co/IOQLoC395X
You may not even notice because I got my handle back, but six years of my social media content went bye bye this week.
Goodbye, old VoteVickUSA Twitter. Hello to my new (even older) account.

Faith belongs in public life as a foundation for caring for your neighbor, not as a partisan weapon.
That belief has shaped my entire career and it shapes how I would govern Illinois.
On November 3, write in MIKE VICK for Governor of Illinois.

Quick civics lesson for Illinois voters. My name will not be printed on your ballot on November 3 because I am running as a write-in independent.
Here is what to do: find the Governor's race, look for the write-in line, write MIKE VICK. Your vote counts. Save and share this.

Excellent thread on the problem of Christian leaders allowing political tribalism to decide for them who their enemies are in the culture wars.
As conscientious objectors to those wars, we’d rather stand on principles and work to find common ground.
The American Solidarity Party recognizes that a person can have no higher authority than God, an authority which imposes duties on each person. Especially in our pluralistic society, we must take special care to respect those duties as much as possible, and provide protections for religiously-affiliated institutions and persons living out their sincerely-held beliefs.

The latest episode of the @AndCampaign's Immigration with Holy Imagination provides a powerful reminder that hospitality is not simply a virtue.
It is a reflection of the heart of Christ.

This is of course absolutely ghoulish, but it follows from the premise that an unborn child can be a piece of property manufactured to order.
Once you allow that, well, why not a return policy for defective merchandise?
