Lofton was exciting and a hell of a player. And I’m not arguing he shouldn’t be in HoF, but Ichiro was better by a lot.

If you actually look back to how eephus pitch was thrown, you’d see it has way more elevation at its peak. But it’s essentially accomplishing the same thing, just a very off speed pitch.
