You have to be a special kind of psychopath to insist that the govt should not build power infrastructure, force people to buy their own solar, and then turn around and rail against net-metering when people invest their own money into solar.

Dear General sb. Today is a working day, we hope you have been able to see the original document by now. We would really appreciate if you can now acknowledge that the document was not fake as you alleged.
My dear brotherly friend Younis Khan, Pakistan’s former captain and one of its premier batsmen, said it so beautifully:
“Hum sab ko apna jawab dena hai.”
It is a reminder for us all that identifying right from wrong, and good from bad, is not optional — it is an obligation for any civilized nation, let alone a Muslim one, which is a far higher standard to live up to.

Dear Saurav, and to every cricketer who has added their name and voice to this, Thank you. Thank you for refusing to look away. When you and the other captains asked simply that Imran Khan be treated with dignity, allowed medical care, allowed his family, you weren’t asking for anything extraordinary. You were asking for the bare minimum of humanity, and even that took courage to say out loud.
I write this from a place many of you will never have to know. Here, asking questions can cost people everything, their freedom, their safety, their business, their jobs, their commentary contracts and sometimes, their families’. I won’t pretend that’s easy to hear or verify from where you sit, but it’s the fear so many of us live with every day.
So when someone with a global platform says “he deserves dignity,” it matters more than you know. It tells us we haven’t been forgotten. It tells us that somewhere, someone with nothing to gain is still willing to call things by their name.
Please don’t stop. Keep asking. Keep raising it. For those of us who can’t always speak freely, your voice sometimes has to carry what ours can’t.
With more gratitude than I can put into words.
