📅Katana will host the Katana Korea Community Meet-up on Jan. 29 in Seoul, South Korea.

While attending the meet-up held in Korea last December, I was interested in the project and was researching it.

@katana positions itself as an EVM-compatible L2 optimized for DeFi, and appears to be a project focused on making on-chain finance more quickly, affordably, and capital efficient.
With the support of Polygon and GSR, and collaborating with various DeFi key players such as Sushi, Morpho, Yearn, Steakhouse, Gauntlet, Spectra, it feels like it's not just "chain" but "building an actual DeFi ecosystem."

In particular, since TGE is scheduled for February 2026, I would like to get some hints from this meet-up about long-term incentive strategy and liquidity design.

And how Katana want to coordinate DeFi native infrastructure (risk management, vaulting, revenue routing) at the L2 level,

Which key primitives will be prioritized after TGE,

Stable에 대한 첫 번째 글을 작성하면서,
제일 먼저 @stable 체인이란 무엇일까?에 대해 정리해볼까 합니다.

블록체인에 익숙하신 분들은 당연히 잘 알고 계시겠지만,
온체인에서의 모든 활동(송금, 전송 등)은 트랜잭션을 발생시켜 일어나며,
이는 가스비(gas fee)가 필요하며 이 비용이 있어야 트랜잭션을 발생시킬 수 있습니다.

보통은 해당 체인의 자체 토큰이나 이더리움, BTC 등의 체인 토큰을 요구하게되는 데, 이는 시장의 변동에 따라 비용의 차이가 발생하게 되죠.

적은 금액일 때는 상관없지만
많은 트랜잭션을 발생시킬 경우 해당 비용의 변동성은 유저에게 측정 및 계산에서 불편함을 겪게 합니다.

이 문제를 해결하기 위해 가스비를 스테이블 토큰인 USDT로 결제하게 하는 것이 바로 스테이블 체인입니다.
