@n24cen3wwtw@hmmthatisdumb@micah_erfan What make you think a STEM major is more critical than a Social Sciences major? An Engineering degree for example is about translating requirement into plans and execution. No more “critical” than “is this normal view of society fit with the observed behaviour” aka social science
@JustDeezGuy@TheWizardTower It’s even more evident of “his code has to work”. Rust bring memory safety, but there are a gazillion things that can go wrong in dual language codebase
We remain committed to our partnership with OpenAI and have confidence in our product roadmap, our ability to continue to innovate with everything we announced at Microsoft Ignite, and in continuing to support our customers and partners. We look forward to getting to know Emmett Shear and OAI's new leadership team and working with them. And we’re extremely excited to share the news that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, together with colleagues, will be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team. We look forward to moving quickly to provide them with the resources needed for their success.
@maronga_abiuth@PhDVoice I would love to see where this mandate's written down.
On the other hand, "professional" infer a suitable compensation for the work done. In scientific publishing, the compensation is being on the author list if their contribution meet authorship standard.
@ngahpham Another thing my grandpa taught is to keep the proportion of noodle, beef and broth so that you have everything until the end of the bow. Quite an art if you ask me, I still slurp if I’m in a hurry, but most of the time I follow the etiquette here
@ngahpham I’ve just flown on them from Frankfurt to Hanoi. Great service and plenty of baggages. Shame if they go under, we need this sort of competition in this market
This is a company that:
1. Entered a category where products traditionally lasted decades
2. Built a $17,000 product that was obsolete within a few years
3. Produced a self-congratulatory marketing video starring an Oscar winner about how environmentally friendly they are
@Gerashchenko_en So many parallel can be draw between UA-RU war today and the sino vietnam war of 79. Except that Deng was smart enough to pull out when it still look like a winning position.
@isakng18 Have to emphasis the lack of transportation infrastructure too. In Eu I am content with 45m commute because it’s like rest or exercise time. In Nam it is literally hell to sit in traffic for extended period of time. So people are more willing to cramped into dense area near work
