@rcondiscord@sawyeurism where are you getting this “many/most” idea from? i’m active in my local and online lgbtq+ communities and this is the majority opinion. it’s why the term “transgender” replaced “transsexual” as the preferred term.
@jajoaopestana@GLemmonsignal@TONYxTWO At least the Canadian isn’t a brainwashed sucker like you. And you wonder why people don’t trust or respect law enforcement. You will believe anything to demonize a woman for her own murder rather than let one trigger happy asshole see justice.
@jajoaopestana@GLemmonsignal@TONYxTWO No proof anywhere of criminal history. It’s extremely easy to make fake screenshots and lie on TikTok. Doesn’t have to even be a convincing lie, because you’ll eat up anything that reinforces what you already believe
@jajoaopestana@GLemmonsignal@TONYxTWO Oh, we’ve all seen the badly done photoshop that your ilk are spreading that doesn’t even list her age correctly. Most of us aren’t just as gullible as you.
@BrianHannemann@DefiantLs Zero proof that she’s getting paid. Do you also believe Vietnam and Civil Rights protesters were all paid to do it? What’s more likely: conspiracy of hordes of paid protesters over years with no paper trail OR….some people feel strongly about causes you disagree with?
@AnthonyGalli@DefiantLs Or maybe it’s almost like some people have moral and political convictions that they believe in enough to regularly attend protests. I personally know plenty of actual people (in real life!) that attend protests and they certainly do not get paid.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter Thanks for the civil conversation but I think we’re at an impasse. I don’t accept that temporarily impeding ICE and then fleeing against orders warrants a death sentence.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter No. She inconvenienced and annoyed them. Nowhere near equivalent to risking bystanders’ lives. And I refuse to accept that temporarily slowing down immigration enforcement warrants the death penalty. I’ve appreciated the discussion but I think we’ve reached an impasse.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter (3/3) He endangers bystanders by discharging his weapon 3x in a neighborhood. Maybe he was triggered from the previous incident. But she did not deserve death. Anyone who thinks she tried to kill him is too deep into “us vs. them” and has lost the ability to assess human behavior
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter (2/3) Shooting the driver of a moving vehicle is against protocol bc it doesn’t stop the car and endangers others. He knows this from yrs of training. If he truly fears for his life, stepping aside is his wisest bet. But he leans IN to the car to shoot.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter (1/2) Okay, let’s say she did. I’m willing admit I may have been wrong. I still think he lost his balance on the ice because he was leaning forward, but let’s say she hit him. It is beyond clear to anyone with eyes she tried to steer around him. He had enough time to step aside.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter (2/2) the footage from closer up contradicts that, I think it’s a trick of the eye. Happy to be proven wrong but it wouldn’t change that this is not justifiable as self-defense since he CHOSE to lean in and shoot instead of stepping aside when his life was not in danger.
@BTCSHIB @PabloSt981@GBBranstetter The 1st clip stops before anything happens. 2 doesn’t show anything but him almost dropping his phone when he goes to shoot her. 3rd/4th almost impossible to make out but he is already slipping before the car is in view. I can see how it looks like it hits him, but given how -
