Students were detained. @RuhullahMehdi was put under house arrest. And the elected government chose silence.
So we request them to answer this, clearly and publicly:
1. Who ordered the detention of students, leaders and @RuhullahMehdi’s house arrest? If the matter lies with the LG, why did the elected government neither intervene nor even issue a statement?
2. How long will you wait for files to return from the LG’s office? Give a timeline. Or admit you have none.
3. If every issue concerning the people of J&K is brushed aside by saying “LG approval is pending,” is waiting your only policy?
4. If students and leaders peacefully decide to take this issue directly to the LG, will the elected government walk with us or continue to hide?
5. After this, are the CM, MLAs, and elected representatives ready to come to Delhi with @RuhullahMehdi and stay there until one demand is met—either release of political prisoners held without trial, or time-bound completion of their trials?
6. And will the government and the rest of the National Conference even demand a discussion with Delhi on the Assembly resolution on J&K’s special status or will that also be left “pending”?
Governments are elected to act, and not to wait. We request timely answers to the above questions, as these questions are not for the LG and hence this file is pending with YOU.
Australian health authorities are warning India that the rabies vaccine being administered in India is fake.
Now if Australian authorities are doing this then what are our authorities doing?
Just listen Dr Dhamija who is revealing this scam..
Having personally known & admired Nitish ji I was shocked to see him pull down a young Muslim woman’s naqaab. Does one attribute it to old age or the normalisation of humiliating Muslims publicly. The fact that people around him watched this horrific incident unfold as some form of an entertainment is even more unsettling. Nitish Sahab perhaps it’s time you step down?
A woman’s dignity and modesty are not props to toy with. Least of all on a public stage. As a Muslim woman, watching another woman’s niqab being pulled at so casually, accompanied by that nonchalant smile, was so infuriating.
Power does not grant permission to violate boundaries.
@NitishKumar owes that woman an unconditional apology.
Chief Minister expressed deep concern over the travel chaos caused by the ongoing airline issues, compounded by the uncertainty resulting from Lok Bhavan’s delay in approving age relaxation, a provision granted multiple times in the past. He urged JKPSC to take note of the unprecedented stress on aspirants and consider postponing the exam in the interest of fairness and equal opportunity for all.
@CM_JnK With nationwide flight cancellations, how are students expected to reach their exam centres? While many exams across the country are being postponed, JKPSC CCE is not. It should be postponed to ease students’ distress #jkpsc#jkas
🚨SOS
Hundreds of JKAS/ CCE aspirants are currently stranded across multiple cities due to the continued uncertainty over age relaxation and the status of the examination.
We have received hundreds of distress calls from anxious aspirants stuck at airports in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, UP, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and other cities. Many students who had travelled outside J&K for coaching, or are studying in universities, are now unsure whether they should fly back, wait, or cancel their travel altogether.
To make matters worse, airfares have skyrocketed, with last-minute ticket prices becoming unaffordable for many. Several flights have been cancelled or rescheduled, pushing students into deeper confusion and financial distress. For majority of aspirants, reaching the exam centres has now become dead impossible. With flights cancelled and no feasible alternative travel options available at this hour, there is simply no way left for them to reach in time by road or otherwise.
Aspirants are now facing a combination of emotional exhaustion, panic, and severe monetary pressure; all because no final written order has been issued regarding age relaxation or the conduct of the exam.
This situation is not just chaotic; it is deeply unfair. Students cannot be expected to gamble with their money, their mental health, and their future because of administrative indecision. With less than 20 hours left before the prelims, the absence of a clear written communication has pushed aspirants to the brink.
We urgently request Hon’ble Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah Sb on behalf of thousands of students to intervene immediately. A swift, final, and written notification on age relaxation is absolutely essential to prevent further hardship. Every passing hour is worsening the crisis!
