Mercury Command launched today. I led the engineering, and it changed how I think about agent products.
From the outside, it's a chat box that can move money (with your explicit approval).
The chat box is the smallest part of the system. Here are the decisions that mattered:
Pulled the split-flap engine out into its own package.
Every tile is built to act like it has a little motor + a drum to mimic a real split-flap display. Took a long time to get GPT-5.5 to understand what *feels* good. Still very WIP

I've always loved vestaboards/old split-flap departure boards. Spent the weekend bringing that to my personal site.
It cycles through "hello world" across languages, and when I'm playing something on spotify, it flips to the track with a little LED album art matrix next to it
@dillon_mulroy@ynab oo i love this. i've been trying to get my agent linked up with YNAB but never got around to it. Is it mostly useful for categorizing or have you found any other cool uses?
Had a blast yesterday at the @sentry event getting to meet @wesbos@stolinski@ThePrimeagen@teej_dv
Mob programming a basketball game and catch the syntax error games were awesome.
Thanks @wesbos for the Syntax tech deck! Recorded a kickflip below 😜
Thanks @zeeg@jamesacowling and your staff for organizing it.
@adamkangas@vercel Yep exactly the same. Our fix was to disable cache components. We raised a sev 2 with vercel and haven’t heard anything yet. @rauchg would love to hear if there’s anything we can do
