We help Vancouver & global businesses get more customers from Google, Meta & TikTok ads + websites that convert π | DM "AUDIT" for a free ad audit π
@bhalligan@dharmesh@HubSpot Organizing a 360 like a product spec, features and bugs, is a brilliant way to make feedback usable instead of just painful. And picking 1 or 2 bugs a year is the part most leaders skip. Trying to fix everything at once usually means nothing actually changes.
@_MikeRos_ Hey Mike, startups and marketing is exactly our overlap. We're a small agency in Vancouver helping founders find their first channel that actually brings in paying customers. What are you building at the moment?
@YifeiZhou@X We run Vynzo Media, a small ad and web agency in Vancouver working with local businesses and e-commerce brands. Profitable in 6 months is a strong start. Curious which part of the work AI took over first for your team, delivery or sales?
@gaelmelen We're Vynzo Media, a small marketing agency in Vancouver. We help local businesses and early-stage founders get customers from Google, Meta and TikTok ads, plus landing pages that actually convert. Happy to swap notes with anyone figuring out their first paid channel.
@adityakiteapp Swag works when it is the reward for trying the product, not the reason to show up. Ask people to sign up and complete one real action before they get the bag, and you get users instead of collectors, plus a clear cost per activated user to compare against your other channels.
That curve is impressive for bootstrapped. Before deciding, worth asking what the retail push actually needs. If it's inventory and slotting fees, debt or revenue-based financing can cover it without giving up equity. If it's building a team fast, that's where raising makes more sense.
@namyakhann So true. The brand that wins early adopters is built to stand out, and enterprise buyers want something that feels safe. We see the same thing with local businesses moving upmarket. The look that got the first customers starts filtering out the bigger ones.
@dmehta104 The 350K views vs two paying LinkedIn customers comparison says it all. Reach from strangers who were never in buying mode rarely converts, while a small warm audience with the actual problem does. The free useful sample idea is underrated for exactly that reason.
@theJoshLoh@theChrisDo Really honest post. Polishing the deck instead of having the messy conversation is something almost every founder does. The unfinished version of an idea is usually what gets the most useful feedback. Hope you got a second shot at that chat.
@SmartC0der Hey Ahmed, fellow Vancouver team here. We run a small marketing agency and work mostly with local businesses and early-stage founders. Always good to meet people building here. What are you working on right now?
This is the conversation we have with almost every local business we work with.
A $40 lead that never books costs more than a $200 lead that turns into a $5,000 job.
Track cost per booked job, not cost per lead, and your whole ad strategy changes. What do you measure?
A $300 lead sounds insane until the average sold job is $10,000
A $60 lead sounds amazing until the average ticket is $129
This is why CPL by itself is such a bullshit marketing KPI
The only number I actually care about is what we put in and what came back out IN REVENUE
@J3nnie_C We build websites designed to convert at Vynzo Media (https://t.co/B2Jy0Fc1Qq), e-commerce included. Quick question before we send work over: is this a new store or a redesign of an existing one? It changes which examples are relevant.
@YesKhush_5 Agree it's likely the prepaid funding cap, not the daily limit. At that spend the faster route is usually a Meta account rep rather than chat support: they can raise the funding threshold or move you to invoicing, which removes prepaid caps. Do you have a rep assigned?
Happy to do this. We run Meta ads for brands at Vynzo Media and spend a lot of time on exactly that question: why one video gets spend and a near-identical one gets none. I can bring real examples of what gets picked up and what gets buried, and keep it fun. Want me to send an outline?
@Vexian We run Google, Meta and TikTok ads at Vynzo Media. Gaming isn't our main vertical, so I won't pretend otherwise, but happy to look at what you're running and tell you straight if we're a fit. What's the goal: installs, community growth or creator sign-ups?
5 Google Business Profile mistakes we see Vancouver businesses make all the time.
Each one takes about 10 minutes to fix, and with Thanksgiving tomorrow, number 4 is urgent.
A thread:
@emaildeepdive Posting profit next to revenue is rare and useful. Is Upwork lead quality holding up against referrals, or is it more volume at lower retainers?
@ahmedgagan11 Fixing the store page before buying traffic is the right order. Ads only multiply the conversion rate you already have. Worth turning them back on now to see what the same spend does.
