@RagTagBarret@team_dyo To be honest, the decision was made mostly so we could legally dissolve Team DYO, since the game wasn't selling enough to cover company upkeep costs. We still want people to be able to play the game, so we decided to make it free instead of just pulling it from Steam.
@YinYinFalcon Yeah, something like that would have probably made sense... Didn't really cross my mind at the time.
(Although if it had, I would have probably decided against it due to laziness anway :P)
@YinYinFalcon Congrats! From what I know, you're the third person to ever beat the game.
I considered slowly ramping up difficulty over several levels as well. But trusting players to figure things out by themselves felt more rewarding, even if it meant possibly losing some people's interest.
@YinYinFalcon If I remember correctly, only the Android version tracks your record properly...
If you're going to keep playing (and have an Android), I recommend switching either way, because that version also has some extra content after getting to 0 for the first time ;)
