I lived in a ghost town for 31 days and it’s the best thing I’ve done for my career.
Network School (@ns) by @balajis. Forest City, Johor. A city built for 700,000 people. Barely anyone lives there. Beautiful, empty, surreal.
And right in the middle of it, 500+ of the most interesting people I’ve met.
Founders. Developers. Researchers. Operators. Some deep in crypto, some building completely outside of it. All here by choice, all with something real to figure out.
Sessions on @ethereum, @base, @virtuals_io, prediction markets, AI, vibe coding, decentralised frontends, Satoshi Nakamoto deep dives. Back to back, every single day. Plus a Lunch and Learn with Balaji himself.
But the sessions aren’t even the best part.
The best part is who’s in the room. The conversations you’d normally wait years to have? They happen at 2am over table tennis here.
That’s what happens when you put serious builders in a ghost town with nowhere else to go. The noise drops. The real conversations start.
I came to sharpen my BD instincts, get around people who’d challenge how I think, and push beyond my comfort zone. Came back with all of that and a lot more.
If you’re building in Web3 and haven’t heard of @ns , look it up. And if you’re thinking about the next cohort, DM me. I have a surprise waiting for you 🫣
You can’t manufacture this kind of room. You just have to be in it.
I work in crypto. Using X daily is not optional for me, it is how I stay updated, find signal, keep up with what is actually moving in this space.
But I am going to be honest, the feed has become very exhausting.
Every second post is about AI. New model. New agent. Someone automated their entire business and now they are giving a TED talk about it.
I use AI. It helps me a lot, but that's not the point.
The point is I came here for crypto, markets, real conversations. Now it feels like I accidentally walked into an AI conference that I never signed up for and couldn't find the exit.
Anyone else feeling this or is it just me?
You can’t “market” your way into liquidity.
If people feel like the game is rigged, they won’t play.
Real markets work when:
- pricing is understandable
- rules are the same for everyone
- outcomes feel fair

@CryptoRank_io You asked what segment we're watching most closely? The one you forgot to put on the map.
Tokenized commodities > everything

This is what happens when platforms hand out god-mode access to user data with zero oversight.
Your wallet. Your trades. Your linked accounts.
All visible to someone you never consented to.
Anyway, great platform. Very trustworthy. 10/10 would recommend. 🙂
An @AxiomExchange employee used internal dashboards to track private wallets, built an insider trading ring, and another employee went on X calling it a 'psyop'.
This is not a drill.
Meanwhile, another Axiom insider went on X screaming 'FREE MONEY' on Polymarket NO shares, calling everyone who believed ZachXBT 'retarded.'
Then posted 'see yall in another life 💔' and went quiet.
Bro was the psyop.
