When you see a hedgehog out in the day time please remember he's been sick for a long time before taking this last desperate step.
He's dying.
IT'S AN EMERGENCY.
Take him indoors in the warmth and ring a rescue IMMEDIATELY.

WATCH: The pilot and co-pilot of a G200 executive jet were killed following an accident at La Romana International Airport.
The aircraft, which had departed for Austin, Texas, reported technical problems and declared an emergency approximately 16 nautical miles southwest of La Romana.
The aircraft attempted to return to the airport but crashed before completing the emergency landing. No passengers were on board.
The Aviation Accident Investigation Commission is currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash.
Please put aerosol scientists and engineers back in charge of public health.
We built infectious disease policy around outdated droplet assumptions while ignoring aerosol physics, ventilation, and indoor air quality.
If your infectious disease training still treats airborne transmission like a rare exception instead of a central mechanism, your curriculum is obsolete.
Public health accreditation bodies should immediately reevaluate training standards for airborne disease prevention, ventilation, filtration, respirators, and aerosol science.
Droplet dogma has already cost enough lives.

Umm all I keep thinking is, can someone else besides the government confirm that Apophis will miss hitting Earth in 2029? Like an independent astronomical organization??
F_d = ½ ρ v² C_d A
With a descent rate 20× steeper and a glideslope roughly 7× sharper than a commercial airliner, this wasn’t flying; it was a precision-controlled atmospheric dive. Touching down at ~350 mph with no engines means you get exactly one shot at getting the numbers right: perfect energy management, spot-on lift-to-drag scheduling, and zero margin for rounding errors.
One miscalculation in the trajectory math and you’re either a smoking crater or skipping off the atmosphere like a rock on a pond. Endeavour nailed it.
One last look at Earth before we reach the Moon.
This view of the Earth was captured on April 5, the fourth day of the Artemis II mission, from inside the Orion spacecraft. The four astronauts will reach their closest approach of the Moon tomorrow, April 6.
What does it take to sustain four astronauts on a 1-million-kilometre journey to the Moon?
We often see the launch, but the real magic happens during the 10 days in space.

Leaving Earth orbit, ✅. Next up: Finalizing the Moon observation plan.
Artemis II is both a test flight and a science mission. Astronauts, flight controllers, & science teams are working together to squeeze as much knowledge as possible out of the crew’s lunar flyby. ⬇️ (1/6)
BREAKING - Passengers on an American flight from Atlanta to Puerto Rico captured one of the closest videos of the Artemis II launch from their plane, and it’s going massively viral, with some commenters expressing concern about how close the plane was to the rocket.
A 600-kilogram NASA satellite will enter Earth's atmosphere tomorrow.
The Van Allen Probe A research satellite, weighing approximately 600 kilograms and launched in 2011, is scheduled to enter Earth's atmosphere on March 11. The spacecraft operated until 2019, after which it gradually lowered its orbit. Upon reentry, most of its structure will burn up, and only small fragments will reach the surface, most likely impacting the ocean. The spacecraft and its twin were originally expected to remain in orbit until 2034, but increased solar activity accelerated their deorbit.
A LATAM Boeing 777 aborted a high-speed takeoff last night (15). Via @aero_in
The Boeing 777-300ER, registration PT-MUH, was in the takeoff roll when the pilots decided to abort at very high speed. According to our data, the decision was made at approximately 178 knots (330 km/h), at a moment when the nose gear had already lifted off the runway.
The reason for the rejected takeoff has not yet been disclosed.
