常時録音型AIボイスレコーダーの「完成形」、まだ見つかっていません。

PLAUD NotePin、Omi、Fieldy 3、Limitlessなど、ウェアラブルAIボイレコを追いかけている、たぬ吉です。

今とくに気になっているのが、
「Mori Journaling AI」と「Memoket Gem」。

まず、Mori Journaling AI。

日本企業が開発する常時録音型のAIデバイスで、公称24時間超の録音、会話の自動検知、自動同期、文字起こし・要約に対応。

スペックを見る限り、Fieldy 3と同じくらい手間なく使えそうで、かなり期待しています。

ただ、現時点で唯一、大きく気になるのが、

「文字起こし後に、元の音声データが自動削除される」

という仕様。

プライバシー面では安心材料ですが、文字起こしはどれだけ高精度でも誤変換が起こり得ます。

そんなとき、元音声を聞き直して確認できないのはやっぱり不安。

音声を残すか、自動削除するか。
ここだけはユーザーが選べる仕様になってほしいです。

一方、Memoket Gemは常時録音ではなく、ボタンを1回押して録音するタイプ。

専用のApple Watchバンドに装着できるのですが、この形はかなりいい。

ペンダントではなく、普段使っている腕時計のバンドに付けられる常時録音型AIデバイスが、もっと増えてほしいんですよね。

今のところ、仕様・使い勝手・文字起こし精度のすべてに100％満足できる常時録音型AIボイスレコーダーには、まだ出会えていません。

でも、このジャンルはこれからますます増えていくはず。

気になる新製品は今後も自腹で試して、良いところも不満なところも忖度なしでレビューしていきます！

Moriの「元音声を残さない」設計、みなさんはプライバシー面で歓迎ですか？

AIで作った成果物だけにとどまらず、デザイナー採用においても、良し悪しを判断するためには類似/海外プロダクトの引き出しとか、原則的な知識とか、そこから積み上げられた直感的なセンスが必要だと思うので、一朝一夕で伸ばすこともできないし、人材ニーズは高そう。

一方でプロダクトを構成するのは日々の意思決定なので、外部人材がパートタイムで入っても大きい影響を与えられるかは課題になりそう。そういう人が社内で育つ仕組みを作るとかだったらスケーラブルなのかな。

最近ご縁が繋がった事業会社への営業してて思うこと🧠

AIで機能、もっと具体的な話をするとUIを作る速度はかなり上がったけど、「何を良しとするか」を決める人が足りていない会社が圧倒的に多くて課題になっている。
デザイナーがいない、または居ても開発速度に追いつかない。エンジニアがUIを組めても、良い悪いの判断に時間がかかる。周りにデザイナーがいないので、そもそもデザインの解像度も上がりづらい...とかとか。

今レバレッジが効くのは「デザインの判断基準」を組織やチームに組み込める仕組み、人材なんだと思う。
そういう課題に対して、自分の提案はかなりの精度で刺さることが多いが、他の組織とかどうなんだろ？🤔

1. Privacy: all your screenshots are first processed locally with CLIP models, that's what powers instant search, and it's also why the app is ~700MB (the models ship inside the app). For screenshots that need more intelligence the "intents" (those actions you see under screenshots) those are analyzed by Gemini in the cloud. No human ever sees that data, and nothing is ever used for training.

2. Photo access: The reason we ask for full access is that Apple only allows automatic import of new screenshots with full Photos access. But we never touch anything that isn't a screenshot.
