Citizens filed 11 complaints , AMC asked for a complete report , The public got an edited version , Transparency isn’t achieved by reporting only the comfortable pages of the file.

AE Torane & JE Manoj Hulge clearly believe rules are optional and duty can wait forever.

Such “dedicated” officers deserve not suspension… but dismissal.

Serious corruption concerns in @mybmcWardL BMC L Ward (Janta Baba Compound, Beat 168).

An illegal G+2 construction was issued a 354A notice in Jan 2025, yet work continued openly. When BMC staff tried stopping it, contractor Anees’ goons allegedly assaulted officials, leading to an FIR at Kurla Police Station — still, construction was not stopped.

After 6 months, a Speaking Order was issued in July 2025. Shockingly, corrupt B&F officer AE Torane (previously suspended in a corruption case and still under enquiry), along with JE Manoj Hulge, woke up only in Oct 2025 for demolition.

Even then, no Panchnama, no cost recovery, and no proper MMC Act procedure was followed.

I filed an RTI in Feb 2026 — no reply. First Appeal — no reply. Hearing held on 24 June 2026, where I was shown a backdated reply copy dated 23 June 2026.

This is how accountability works in BMC L Ward.

Officers like AE Torane should not be suspended — they should be dismissed.

@mybmc In L Ward, a structure reportedly demolished in 2025 has allegedly reappeared as a G+2 building, with construction of a third floor now said to be underway under the pretext of a court matter.

AE (I/C) Torne, who has reportedly faced suspension in the past in connection with a corruption-related matter, is now facing serious questions again. If a demolished structure can rise once more under the same jurisdiction, what exactly is being enforced ?

JE hulge and the entire enforcement machinery also owe the public an explanation.

If the alleged illegal construction is visible on the ground, why is immediate statutory action missing ?

Selective enforcement undermines public confidence and the rule of law.

A classic case of 'demolition' turning into a VIP renovation in @mybmcWardL

It was demolished in Oct 2025, but miraculously rebuilt without BMC interference. Allegedly, JE Manoj Hulge, AE Torane, and DO Beldar are the architects of this resurrection. If a court stay is being openly flouted, this is textbook contempt. Courts must act against this open defiance of the rule of law. @mybmc @AshwiniBhide
