@MsBelleMae@darkpatterns @affinitybyserif Wow, I have found the exact opposite to be true — what happened?
This does not sound like the Affinity I’ve been using for years.
@AppleTV gotta say, Isla Rose Hall did an OUTSTANDING performance on #MyticQuest portraying Young Poppy; the mannerisms, facial expressions, and vocal inflections and delivery absolutely nailed the primary actress’s character. That kid is headed for greatness. #IslaRoseHall
@troyhunt Similar to my preference for a nicely implemented secure Apple Pay like system, but I’m not blind that there will always be a need to enter credit card numbers on forms…
Better experiences tend to lead slowly toward organic adoption. I’m thankful password manager adoption.
@troyhunt Troy, a see your point; that hasn’t escaped me. You’re not wrong, and I’m not pushing back. I’m not pushing to the adoption of SQRL over passwords for the general public, that’d be ludicrous. For the trust-no-one security crowd, I’d like a client as professional as 1Password.
@troyhunt Concur — passwords will never go away. But as 1Password baked in Authenticator Codes, I’d love to use just one Password Manager than multiple tools. If it managed SQRL profiles as well, I’d trust them to do it right given their past.

@PCOwner2@SGgrc I’d assume you’d weigh which is more important: reliable, performant, or price (likely this move you toward AWS or Wasabi) and then only send encrypted blobs to and from the cloud, never giving them the keys.
(2/2) I put the candy back in the bowl, she doesn’t flinch but smiles and runs off.
I rush out to the parents, “We have a winner! First honest kid of the evening!”
I present her with an ENORMOUS oversized Snickers bar as a reward.

(1/2) “How many would you like?”
Kid: “Three please.”
1..2..3…4!
“Uh oh! I gave you too much!”
Kid nods in agreement.
“Should you return it or run away?”
She puts her finger on her chin, “give it back for someone else to have,” and promptly hands it back.

“How many pieces of candy should I give you?”
Kid 1: “Five, because I’m 5.”
1..2..3..4….5. (She runs off happy)
Kid 2: “Two, please.”
1….2
Kid 3: “Three.”
1..2….3
Kid 2: silently looks at me with puppy eyes
“Did you mean to say three?”
Kid 2: “yes.”

@Apple, any chance while you collect metrics on viewing habits you could watch how many times and how much we’re overshooting icons and going back in navigation via rapid clicks and use some of that AI/ML magic to tune the interface to be less jumpy?
