On mobile, shopping app Phia treated X and swipe-away as grounds to invoke an affiliate link. Code below. Also Phia auto-reopened affiliate links periodically so it would be last click. Forced clicks, contrary to network rules and contract. Details at https://t.co/V2Ev7MEE7y
I think maybe more than 50% of the aggregate efficiency gains that come from using AI are not in pure engineering efficiency
Instead they come from removing humans from the entire software development lifecycle
Skip the PM. Skip the designer. Automate the research and QA.
Features that used to require weeks of research and debate now just skip all of that. Just spend $1k on tokens and ship it and see if you like it. In prod
It’s not about 10x engineers. It’s about 100x organizations
The most life-changing thing you can do right now is become great at using AI - build it into workflows, make AI-enabled products and tools, leverage the frontier.
Others are saying this, but it’s worth repeating.
The least understood yet most important concept in the world is Jevons Paradox. When we make a technology more efficient, demand goes well beyond the original level. AI is the perfect example of this — almost anything that AI is applied to will see more demand, not less.

I now realize I’ve spent over half my life respecting @ID_AA_Carmack . As always his thoughts are compelling. This is a great read for the state of VR https://t.co/rGFHUingw8
The tl;dr: user data just isn't worth that much (if by user data we mean the data they themselves generated on the platform in question).
