Here's something further away from LTNs and London: I
wrote a little short story satire about the car dystopia that is my hometown of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Story is now published here: https://t.co/2DIvsYJdjc

Hi, the Geographic cycle map link appears to be broken. Can you please fix as I use it a lot and send this to my nervous cycling friends.
Here's a short summary of the evidence we believe demonstrates that Barrowman's companies committed fraud, cutting to the key point, the false documents as quickly as I can:
@burtmcneill @GarysBrain@carlafrancome Sometimes they fine people. Sometimes they send warning letters. It's a bit hit or miss. But I try to do my best in reporting. The reports show up in the statistics so if they have lots of reports, they can't just ignore it.
NEW: I’m delighted to announce the Hackney Central and Pembury Circus Green Corridor — the biggest public realm investment in Hackney’s history.
With 229 traffic collisions since 2017, people can no longer afford to wait.
This is why we are taking action ⬇️
However, the mayor's office has "called in" the decision. This means that it is still possible to express your support for the masterplan until Saturday 16! Write in, and tell them the differences it would make to your ability to get around the east end. https://t.co/zuLw1N1joa
Hope for positive changes to public space, walking and cycling in the borough?

A serious road crash occurred at the Curtain Road & Great Eastern St junction on 14 August.
A recent TfL stats update now lists this collision as a cyclist fatality, making a dreadful tally of 3 cyclists killed in Hackney in 6 weeks.

Loved having local champions from Tower Hamlets at #MQT today. Thank you for the challenges you are each making to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets’ awful decision to rip out healthy streets! @SaveBGstreets@CllrNathalieB!
@sianberry@SaveBGstreets@CllrNathalieB Thank you for standing up for air quality in Tower Hamlets!! It’s a shame that there are people who are so selfish and prioritise their own convenience instead of others’ health. Reminds me of the smoking indoors debate of the 90s.
@coreysmum2014@jonburkeUK@LutfurRahmanTH Pity then that all the residents in the areas affected voted to KEEP LTNs in two separate consultations. Wonder he would listen — guess not.
@rachela_hall And in the ruling, it was noted that the courty had ruled that Lutfur "making grants does amount to the corrupt practice of bribery". History repeating itself?
Disappointed that @rachela_hall has chosen to publish what is essentially a PR puff piece for Lutfur Rahman, and not investigating where the funding is coming from. And Lutfur is removing LTNs, ignoring two resident consultations, unnecessarily spending £2+m.
