Just wandered past the amazing Redstone Rock caves near Stourport-on-Severn. These sandstone caves were carved out in the 12th century and once housed up to 500 hermits! A fascinating glimpse into the past along the Geopark Way trail. #RedstoneRock#GeoparkWay#Worcestershire
It’s been a lovely week to be out and about hunting for ice age erratics from North Wales this week, such as this one located next to the North Worcestershire Path at Waseley Hills Country Park.

@RobDaviesEA This is a very interesting innovation. Just out of interest, how you you control your river level datum value? …. I’m assuming that GPS related to nearby datum control points are involved.
It’s easy to lose your way while traversing the myriad of transitory trails that cross-cross this rare and lovely example of lowland heath at Hartlebury Common ….. unless of course you’re following the Geopark Way. @worcscc @AMHillsGeopark @HartleburyCLG
Eastney to Old Portsmouth A rare coastal stroll for me, in mood reviving winter sunshine …… such a lovely part of Hampshire, reminiscent of happy childhood summers. https://t.co/QVovKHwBFH
@SimonCalder And Kidderminster is a such a worthwhile destination; home to the excellent Severn Valley Steam Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, Museum of Carpet, and the famous Kidderminster Harriers !!!
Slow Way Kidderminster to Highley (higkid 1) A delightful wet and windy winter stroll up the Severn Valley to the ex-mining villages of Alveley and Highley via a series of quiet country roads, green lanes and hedge bounded footpaths.... https://t.co/v7gySZe8pn
Slow Way Catshill to Bromsgrove (catsbro 1) An urban stroll south along an urban road, save for a short section of dedicated cycle path. Not the most pleasant of hikes, but short and straight to the point, ending up at Bromsgrove town centre.... https://t.co/Qs3ePGzYD4
Slow Way Kidderminster to Catshill A landowner issue at Dordale apart, this was very pleasant field and woodland winter stroll across North Worcestershire to Catshill (kidcat one) https://t.co/epsEXoEPBG
Geopark Way - Minsterworth to Gloucester A final stage 14km stroll along the left bank of the lower River Severn to Gloucester Cathedral, completing the sinuous 109 mile pathway of the Geopark Way that began almost a year ago at Bridgnorth.... https://t.co/Tfe4ON0kAN
